I recently purchased a black girdle from National. The portion of the garters that attach to my stockings are flimsy and very difficult to attach. In fact,this morning I put on the girdle and gave up when one of the garters fell apart. I purchased the same girdle in white a few months earlier and the garters are easy to attach. Both girdles fit well and are quite comfortable. Comfort is important to me because I wear a girdle almost every day.

The product 4519 in the past has been great. Recently the garter tabs have been downgraged and are not of the same quality or size of the ones in the past. Recently I purchased a new garment and one of the garters came completely off the garment the 2nd time I wore it. Shopnational quickly replaced the garment so no worries except garter down grade.

For the times I like to feel a bit more special and wear garted stockings this is a great girdle. The support this girdle gives is wonderful. Holds you together in all the rigt places and is figure flattering.

Because I regularly wear an open bottom girdle I always try to keep at least 3 on hand. As a result, when one of my older girdles bit the dust I called and ordered this model girdle for the third time. The 4519 is a terrific girdle, both valuewise and qualitywise. Though I always order this girdle one size smaller than my hips would indicate it is still a very, very comfortable girdle which is also gently supportive. Open bottom girdles are becoming increasingly harder to find so I hope that National will continue to stock this wonderful style. And the National stockings, item # 900 are a great complement to this girdle.

This style is hard to find. It's an item I use almost every day. It's comfortable while giving the support I feel I need.

I bought this item upon the suggestion of a friend as an alternative to control top pantyhose. It was at first an unusual garment for me to ware but then I started to appreciate the practicality of wearing stockings. Also if you need control top there is no way you can find on the market a pantyhose that provides containment and comfort as an open bottom girdle. One thing I did not like is the fact that the garters are neither detachable nor adjustable. Basically you need to buy stockings that reach the garters.
