The minute I walk in the house I change my clothes and put on one of these. I have four, in different colors and keep them washed and ironed. I can't complain about the ironing, because they are a snap to iron and because they're cotton, are really cooler than a synthetic fabric would be. I live in Georgia, where it is HOT in the summer.

I gave this garment only 4 stars because of the need for ironing if worn outdoors shopping. If you DON'T care about wrinkling, then I'd recommend it for home. I bought the dress (in every color) specifically for wearing as a dress shopping and eating-out. Ironed it fits that need. But make NO mistake. . . .this dress needs ironing BADLY if you wear it shopping and/or eating out. It just wrinkles VERY badly after washing. It DID shrink. . . .a little. . . .but not enough to be disappointed with it. It didn't shrink THAT much (on the permanent press cycle). And though I DO have a "wrinkle alert" button, it STILL wrinkled. But once ironed. . . .it looks BEAUTIFUL. The cotton makes it EXTREMELY comfortable to wear because the fabric "breathes" and the colors are very summery. I like it and I WOULD buy it again. . . . .but I continue to emphasize the need to IRON!!!!! Trust me on THAT!

i needed casual wear like this short sleeve, all cotton dress, so i can go out my front door to pick up newspaper in comfort and style, great summer casual wear. thinking about getting 2 more, total of 4 in every color.

This is my 2nd dress. I purchased one last year and liked it so well. I like this dress as it is 100% cotton as I don't like material that has polyester in it for hot summer days. Also, I liked it because it doesn't have flowers or patterns all over it which is just not my style.

The main problem is the material wrinkling soo much. Cannot wear but @ home when no one comes over due to wrinkle and I will not iron casual wear.

The material is exceptonally nice--a sturdy, appealing fabric and the workmanship is good. Particularly appreciate the pockets! A little disappointed that it needs touch-up ironing and also appears to have shrunk some in the dryer.

I get many compliments when I wear this dress. I wear it shopping, dinner at local pub and it is so comphy. The only thing I don't care about it is that it looks better with a bit of ironing after it is laundered. I HATE to iron.

These inexpensive dresses are great for everyday wear when the weather is in the 80s and 90s. I gave two to my sister and she couldn't believe how cool they are on a hot summer day! I have been wearing them for ten years or more.

I bought 4 of these sundresses - I wear a size Medium, and these dresses have been a lifesaver during this hot hot summer. I tried to remember what I used to wear in the hot summertime, and I thought "Sundress! and sandals..." so I ordered 1 of these dresses to see if it fit and if it washed washed well without shrinkage (it passed with flying colors), bought some flip flops in bright colors - and after my shower every morning, I put on sunscreen, one of these dresses, and my flips and I'm good to go. And go I do, with a sunhat and tote I'm out and set for the day.

The dress did not shrink: I washed it gentle, cool, and dried it on delicate for 10 minutes, and hung to dry the rest of the way. I might run a quick iron over the skirt, although it's not badly wrinkled at all. If you like crisp pressed clothing, you'll want to iron this; it's optional in my opinion, depending on where I was going to wear it.

Anyhow, don't miss this dress! the price, quality, and the sheer fun of wearing something cool and comfortable even in 103 degree weather - - it's all good with this dress. Buy one or more, I'm back here to write this review, and to pick up two more. They're *that* great!
