This is my second order for these panties. I exclusively wear pure cotton panties and I have tried many other brands, but they do not favorably compare to these. I checked my old panties to the new, right out of the package, and it was amazing how the elastic was still the same on the old. There is some built-in extra length before laundering, as all jersey will tend to "shorten." But they are just right after laundering. The width does not change, but they do shorten some, which other manufacturers fail to account for and then panties are too short. These are also the most durable cotton panties I have ever purchased. My laundry methods are tough, too. Very, very hot water, bleach, double rinse, etc. so I have put them to the test! There are my only panties, period, and I don't wear "fancy" panties ever. These are smooth enough that I don't need something lighter or thinner, no matter how fancy or dressy the attire. I buy them by the dozen. Don't ever stop selling these panties!
