These shoes can be worn anywhere, any time and I do! I like the leather shoe, much easier to keep clean rather than canvas and nicer in the cold weather. I have no complaints at all except for the fact I ordered 1/2 size too large. Wearing them anyway, didn't want to return them and wait for others.

The Janey shoe is not as comfortable as the Grand Champ shoe that was replaced by the Janey. It seems to run smaller but then everything is getting cheaply made now days.

Just received the Grasshopper Janey leather sneakers today. Very happy with them - great fit and great looks! Perfect replacement for the discontinued leather look-a-likes that I had loved. I ordered 7.5W, which is my normal size. Fit well in both the toe box and the heel area. So pleased I have found this brand, I will be ordering other styles as well. Customer service was great too - friendly, easy to understand operators. The postoffice even delivered when promised. Overall excellent experience!

I wear these shoes every day during the summer as they keep my feet dry when walking through damp grass on the Maine island where I spend several months. Canvas sneaker-type shoes are useless in this setting.
