These are slightly---and I mean only *slightly*---less shiny & elegant than they appear in the photo. I think I am going to send them back in exchange for the Daniel Green "Denise" (at least I think that's the name of the shoe) silver/gold/copper slides, which are the ones I really wanted in the first place (but didn't want to spend $35 at the time).

I've been looking for a gold slipper for a long while that wasn't too expensive. These were promising, but I am disappointed with the product. The toe is narrow, making the shoe length smaller than indicated size. At the same time, they are very wide, so they gap around the instep. I would say not well made. The quilting is so thick that it does not look stylish.
