I ordered two of the knit skirts--one in black and one in the light blue for my mother who is 85 and resides in a nursing home in another state. I've ordered this skirt before in other colors. I wish more colors were still available. She likes this particular type of skirts because they have elasticized waist bands, don't wrinkle, are soft on her tender skin, and are a good length (not too long (she's 5'2" and a lot of skirts even for petites are 30" or more) or too short (then there are those that are way above the knee) which causes a problem since she uses a wheel chair regularly). They wash well, even in the nursing home laundry and look brand new for a long time. She gets a lot of compliments on her clothing. Since I do all of her clothes shopping for her from a distance, I wish National carried more items like these.

This skirt has a fairly thick weave fabric and it's way too warm right now for that. I'd much prefer if it had been a couple inches longer. Since I haven't worn it yet, I can't say if it retains stains.
The elastic waste band is fairly broad and thick, possibly because folding over the thick fabric makes it that way. This may be fine for winter.

I have not yet worn this skirt as I purchased it in white to wear on first Sunday at church. The material is great quality and the pockets are a nice addition. It felt comfortable when I tried it on. I look forward to wearing it.

I like my skirts just a little longer because I prefer to wear knee highs instead of pantyhose. The skirt is comfortable, though, and I find the color very good for my wardrobe. It matches several blouses that I have.
