This is a very pretty nightgown, but it is too short. It is about 2 inches below mid-calf & I'm a short person, 5'1". The material is on the thin side, so it's not plushy soft. I'd say it runs true to size. The elastic sleeves fit good & snug which I like. I'll be more apt to wearing this in the cool autumn, instead of the deep cold winter. The price is excellent, so I'll be keeping it. I'll probably order another, since I can wear it on cool nights & save my plushies for the deep winter cold.

i always size up in nightgowns for extra comfort, if you want the extra room for sleeping size up one size.

I am much colder at night than my husband. I like nightgowns and prefer the raglan sleeves if I can get them. They are less binding when sleeping. I live in Utah and our winters are cold. It washes nice and is soft and warm but the lengh shinks to mid calf after the first washing. The rest of the fit is fine.
I looked long and hard last year for any flannel nightgown that was less than $50.00 a pop and was hard pressed to find any. I did find one with set in sleeves. I prefer the raglan if I can get them. This has a nice fit,with raglan sleeves. I wish they had chosed a smaller floral print but that does not affect the product.

for sleeping at night - but flannel always gets a worn-down feeling after some time.... And in addition to that, these 2 that I bought started out feeling thin. I definitely would NOT describe these as cozy soft at all. Still they're pretty and okay - but would not buy this style again because they're not soft.
