These are wonderful all-cotton briefs - high quality soft cotton that washes and dries with ease. And so comfortable! They're hard to find - briefs of this quality cotton, that don't shrink, ride up or do anything other than feel wonderful and cotton-cool - and I'm thrilled that I found them here at National - *another* great product from this company I should add - I bought these 1 size larger than I wear (I do this with all of my cotton lingerie) and after one wash they were my "normal" size having shrunk just enough - but still soft and the right size after several more washings and dryings. I'm here to buy another half dozen. When I find something I like, I like to stock up "just in case." 100% happy with this purchase - thank you National!

These briefs are made of quality cotton fabric and are well-constructed, however, the rise was too long for me, so the waistband and leg opening rolled over. Went down a size, and they still rolled over. I really like the quality of these and many other National styles, however, these briefs just didn't work out. Keep the great classic clothing coming, though, National!

Love the briefs and have ordered them more than once. I lost a little weight recently but still take the same size outerwear so ordered the same size briefs. This time they were a bit large, so I am going to try the next size down. They are comfy, soft.
Only problem is the tag inside that I always have to cut out. It would be nice of the size was printed on the cotton.

It is almost impossible to find a basic coptton brief in a size 5. I hope you never discontinue this product.
As noted by another reviewer-the leg elastic is the same width as the waist elastic-too wide. I would like to see this changed in the future. Otherwise- a quality product.

Came from a generation where undies came to your waist, not slightly below it, not way below it. Skirts and slacks and jeans also arrived at your waist. It was considered lady like to have a waist. Seems waists are out and Muffin Tops are in. I prefer my waist so thank you for the undies that have a bit more material so they fall at the waist.

I have purchased these before, but it had been a number of years, and I wasn't sure about the size. I thought it should be size 6, but using the size chart, I ordered size 7. They turned out to be too big. There is about an inch extra lee-way in waist band and they feel loose. I will keep them, because otherwise they are comfortable.
