these work well for my 90 year old mom who has leg swelling due to kidney problems. she is unable to wear the tighter elastic stockings because she isn't strong enough to pull them on. these give her some support. only 1 stocking ripped so far- still have 4 packs left, so hopefully it is a fluke, since support knee hi's are difficult to find.

Something in the style of this Queen sized support knee high has changed, besides it running smaller than it used to and the feel of the support yarn. The cotton foot panel looks and feels different, too. The color I used to buy, "barely beige" is no longer available.
The best I can say is...it'll do for now.

I have used support knee highs everyday for years & National is the only place I can still get them. I need to use "It Stays" to keep them up, but if I don't wear the support knee highs, my legs get very tired.
