Bought myself a split skirt just for using as an alternative to shorts when active in bike riding and other minor sporty activities with my family. They are fine but I would definately have to order a size or two up. Size 10 in anything is typically a bit large for me. This particular split skirt in a size 10 runs quite small on the waist, (tight and pinching even with the elastic waist) and hips. I will have to order one or two sizes up to meet my comfort level.

it's a little long for a 5'4" person, more comfortable than shorts for sitting down.I'm looking for (or fabric to sew) a hip length demim vest to make an outfit (with long sleeve tee) for grocery shopping. It could easily become my favorite comfortable good looking garment. Sorry I don't advise others to buy, but I do tell them where I buy if they ask.

Loved the look in the catalog and on me when it arrived. After washing, the front creases were gone, and the vertical look was gone. Rather than ironing creases in after every wash, I stitched very narrow folds down the center front of each leg, creating permanent creases. Works like a charm.

The skirt is not as full as the picture shows. I wanted something that really is a "split skirt." I was somewhat disappointed because I have one that I found at a thrift shop- same brand and same size- it is fuller.

I own 2 of each color. One of each I use for work cleaning church, one of each I use for casual wear. If more colors were available I would own two of each. These are my very favorite skirts. LOL LOL - I'm wearing one as I type.
I listed "too short" as a complaint only because I prefer longer skirts. Not a real complaint at all and they certainly aren't TOO short.
