Purchased this for my mother after surgery because she wanted something easy to put on herself. She already had another one in this style. It's a pretty dress and covers the territory, but the fabric is thinner than I'd expected and tends to pill on the backside due to the polyester content.
One of the snaps (the bottom one) came off in the first wash, but didn't make the dress unwearable. For the price it met her immediate needs, but this probably won't be a wardrobe staple.

I prefer a style without a collar. This is OK once it has been washed to help the collar lie flat. The one feature I don't like is the gathers at the top of the sleeve, at the shoulder seams. You can't see this feature in the photos, but it makes you look huge, like clown sleeves. Oh well, I'm only wearing it at home anyway. Good value for the money, on sale.

I love coordinated outfits with lots of pockets, and this housecoat with the matching dress is both stylish and practical for my needs. The dress can double as a nightgown, with the coat being a great coverup for early-morning trips outdoors. I love the cotton/polyester mix that doesn't need ironing, and was pleasantly surprised that the size S really was small and fit perfectly. One of the three dresses I ordered that was labeled S seemed to be an M instead, but National promptly replaced it with the correct size. I'm very happy with the excellent value of this affordable purchase.
