I was disappointed with the small amount of support this item provides. The elastic does not seem very powerful,and the tummy control is no better than much less expensive stretchy panties.I am not a large woman--wear a size 8--
and I it is not unreasonable to expect that this panty girdle would help with a modest tummy bulge.

I wore this under slacks and shorts. It did hold me firmer and felt good. However, it did ride up slightly on the back buttox. I took the lower side seams in to tighten legs, and it then stayed down lower on the buttox.
