Lovely material, unlovely zipper!
The fabric is so soft and beautiful that it is a shame to ruin it with a low quality zipper. It would be perfect without the zipper.

I have always loved these kind of sweaters. They are both comfortable and stylish, go with anything whether wearing a suit for work or jeans/slacks on the weekend. Wash very nicely and seem to hold their colors, which I have many.

The fabric is acrylic, which I believe has improved over the years, now smoother and softer than it used to be. I used to find acrylic scratchy and intolerable, so I ordered this sweater fully expecting to have to return it. I was thrilled to find the fabric soft enough to be wearable. And then there's that zippered neckline, which makes for easy on/off. The fabric is also fine gauge enough to be dressy and easily accessorized.
