Cold Weather Strolls
I have determined that if the temperature outside is above 40 degrees, this family is taking a walk!
Mind you, this is often a struggle considering my 3 year old has informed us she is “allergic to jackets.” But somehow…we make it happen. And of course, every now and then…I leave the kids behind.
Yesterday, the sun warmed things up to a stunning 55 degrees. It was the perfect day for a leisurely stroll…without my sweet, magical and wildly loud children. I bundled up in my comfortable stretch hoodie paired with the most unreal pants for my jaunt around Wilmington. (These flat-waist leggings are a staple, y’all. Easy to throw on with a tunic for a more sophisticated look, they have proven wildly versatile with a casual hoodie for a lunch break walk. Without question, they are my number one item this winter). I’m a sucker for jewel tones, so I snagged the hoodie in a beautiful, deep turquoise. On cooler days, I add a base tank layer. Give me all the pockets and stretch!
Ok friends. I promised you a peak into my One Word for 2021. I’ll see you on Friday for the big reveal. (Spoiler alert – my kids are a big part of the word choice this year).
